Map Object Pack: Surfbored's Gallery
Hi all, I am happy to announce we have a new member here at the Nook. None other than Surfbored from the Dundjinni forums. We are honored to bring a person of his skill into the Nook team. Today he brings us three variants of an easel with a painting in different stages of completion. Enjoy, I sure did.
Welcome Surf! Grey

Map Object: Throne of the Goblin King
I have been working on this one for quite some time. It is a major departure from the way I have done pieces in the past. I am very happy with the way it turned out. I hope everyone enjoys it. Please stop by the forum and let us know how you like the site. Thanks for being patient. Grey

Dear GenCon
As most of you know, my son and I made a road trip to GenCon this year and had quite a blast. We still laugh about the things we did and saw and have many favorite memories.
On the long way home in the car, I was thinking about the organization it took to put together. I was fortunate to be able to thank some of the main organizers on the last day after most people were gone and I was tracking down my lost credit card. There weren't even many of them left, but I did manage to express my appreciation to them as they scrambled to finalize things.
Which of course got me to thinking that few people take the time to write thank-yous these days. Even with the speed and ease of emails, how many of us actually peck out our thoughts on the keyboard and say "job well done, thank you".
So in that light I present to you a generic, Dear GenCon letter. To use it, simply cut and paste this letter into an email and check off the options that apply. Comments (4) | Views: 135 |

Map Object Variants: Transparent Bottom Pits
Based on a few requests here are some previously released pits with transparent bottoms so you can place your own goodies or baddies in there. Note: I have tried to keep the shading consistent with the depth. Items placed inside should be scaled down to maintain depth as well. Enjoy Grey

Map Object: The Snake Pit
This is a slight variation on an object I did for Kepli's "Temple Plane" map that appeared within Dragon Roots Magazine Issue #1. Enjoy! Grey

The Snake Pit

"One…Two” Ahhh-blood is rushing to my head. I don't even think I was born upside down. If I get out of here I will have to ask me mum. "Three-Four” Stay focused. Man that rope hurts.
How did I know she was the King's daughter. I got to admit this is a great deal though, only six snakes the King said, and I will get her fancy. I mean she is gorgeous, those long legs, autumn hair, and that smell of lavender. I can still smell it heavy on the air. "Ah!" Steady everyone while I reach again. "Ah...Five". What a plan, going for the small ones is much easier to handle with one hand. Almost there sweetheart, I see you smiling. Steady...stea...stea…here comes number..."Achoo!"
Falling... ah a little venom never killed any...wow dizzy now..."Six!" There she is...looking down at her hero...she is...is...just got keep my eyes open...she is clapping? Damn it!
